I've just been prescribed Buproprian XL 150 mg (GENERIC) for my depression, and this is my first anti depressant. Its been about a week and I've just increased dosage to 2x a day for 300 mg total a day. I've experienced some side effects in first couple of days, but theyve subsided. I havent felt MUCH better, but know its earlier. My question though to those who are MUCH improved on this, can you pls tell me whether you're taking a GENERIC or the BRAND NAME Wellbutrin? Wondering if the generic is not as effective as brand.
