Simular Drugs : Pancreatin, Pancreatin 4x, Pancreatin 8x

Pancreatin Usage: this medication contains digestive enzymes which help digest & absorb foods. It's used to treat symptoms about pancreatitis or other various digestive disorders.

How to use Pancreatin: this drug works best if taken with or after meals. Antacids may hinder effects of this tablet. don't take an antacid at the same time as this medication. Wait at least two hours between administration.

Pancreatin side effects: Generally this medication is very well tolerated & side effects are mild if they occur. Diarrhea, cramping or stomach upset may occur when starting treatment. If these effects persist or worsen, inform you're healthcare professional. Although very unlikely to occur, notify your pharmacist if you develop: skin rash, severe stomach distress. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Pancreatin Precautions: Tell youre healthcare professional if your allergic to following: pork. this medication must be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss the risks & benefits with youre healthcare professional. Its not known if it medication appears in breast milk. Consult you're physician before breast-feeding.

Pancreatin med interactions: Tell some your doctor of every medicines you may use including prescription & nonprescription, especially: antacids that contain calcium and/or magnesium, iron. do not start or stop any medicine with out healthcare professional or doctor approval.

Pancreatin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include diarrhea or upset stomach.

Pancreatin special notes: don't change brands without first checking with your doctor. do not share this med with others.

If you missed Pancreatin dose: Take any missed dose as soon as possible but not if It's almost time for following dose. If It's time for next dose, skip the missed dose & resume youre regular schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose.

Pancreatin Storage: Store at room temperature & keep away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
