    Methenamine/methylene blue/benzoic/phenyl sal/atropine/hyoscyamine

    (meth-en-uh-meen/meth-ih-leen blue/ben-zoh-ick/feen-ill sal-iss- uh-late/at-trow-peen/hi-oh-sye-uh-meen)

    common brand names: Dolsed, Prosed/DS, Uretron, Uridon, Urised

    Warning: kid and teenagers shouldnot use aspirin, aspirin- containing or aspirin-related tablets for flu symptoms or chickenpox without first consulting pharmacist. a rare but serious illness known as Reye's syndrome may occur.

    Mhp a Usage: this med contains anti-infective, pain reliever, & antispasmodic ingredients. it is used to treat urinary tract infections & helps to relieve pain, burning, urinary urgency and frequency & other associated symptoms.

    How to use Mhp a: Take it medication as directed at evenly spaced interval around the clock. Continue taking it for the full time prescribed even if symptoms disappear. Stopping therapy too early may result in ineffective treatment and can lead to re-infection. Take each dose with a full glass of water and drink plenty of fluids while taking this.

    Mhp a side effects: Nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, diarrhea, loss about appetite, dry mouth, headache, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, & nervousness may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre doctor. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. this drug causes urine &, possibly, stools to turn blue-green in color. don't be alarmed. this effect is temporary and will disappear when the medication is stopped. Notify your physician if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, fever, eye pain, painful urination, mental confusion, skin rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Mhp a Precautions: Tell youre doctor if you have: kidney problems, liver disease, stomach or intestinal disorders, glaucoma, allergies (especially tablet allergies). Because this drug can cause drowsiness or blurred vision, use caution driving or performing tasks requiring alertness. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with you're physician. it is not known if this medication appears in breast milk. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Mhp a drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about any over-the-counter or prescription tablet you use, especially about: blood pressure meds, antidepressants, sulfa antibiotics. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

    Mhp a Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: fast heartbeat, dizziness, blurred vision, seizures, slowed or shallow breathing.

    Mhp special notes: don't share this medication with others.

    If you missed Mhp a dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near the time since the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Mhp Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in bathroom.
