Guiadex Pd Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. it combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Guiadex Pd: Take this drug by mouth. tablets should be swallowed whole. don't crush or chew them. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. Its recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.
Guiadex Pd side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur first few days as you're body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficult or painful urination, difficulty sleeping. Because this medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or doctor.
Guiadex Pd Precautions: Tell you're doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history about seizures. this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risk and benefits with your physician. it isn't known if this medication appears in breast milk; consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Guiadex Pd drug interactions: Tell some your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, medication for HBP. Tell youre pharmacist if you have, in last two weeks, taken any MAO inhibitors: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.
Guiadex Pd Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include headache, dizziness, blurred vision, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, numbness of fingers, vomiting, drowsiness, fatigue, or seizures.
Guiadex Pd special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Guiadex Pd dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Guiadex Pd Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
