    Coal tar shampoo - topical

    (kole tar)

    Mg217 Medicated Tar Usage: Coal tar shampoo is used to treat the itching & skin flaking/irritation caused by certain skin conditions of head and scalp (e.g., dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis).

    How to use Mg217 Medicated Tar: Apply this drug onto hair and scalp usually twice weekly; or as directed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each application/shampoo. Wet your hair thoroughly with water and rub shampoo into lather on some your hair and scalp. Rinse your hair well with water & repeat. this medicated shampoo is for use on the scalp & hair only. don't use if you have open skin (e.g., sores/wounds) on you're scalp. Avoid getting any about this shampoo at youre eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse your eyes thoroughly with water. If eye irritation persists or worsens, contact your pharmacist promptly. Avoid getting any of this shampoo on youre clothes. this product may stain your clothing.

    Mg217 Medicated Tar side effects: Minor skin/scalp irritation or darkened/stained skin may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your physician promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any about these serious side effects occur: large and/or painful skin sores/pimples on the scalp. An allergic reaction to this product is unlikely, but seek immediate doctor attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

    Mg217 Medicated Tar Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. it medication may make you more sensitive to the sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure or wear protective clothing or hat when outdoors. Tell your healthcare professional if you are pregnant before using this medicated shampoo. It's unknown if this medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Mg217 Medicated Tar med interactions: Tell your pharmacist of every prescription & nonprescription medication you may use, especially: other medicated shampoos or topical products. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

    Mg217 Medicated Tar Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this product may be harmful if swallowed.

    Mg217 Medicated Tar special notes: do not share this product with others.

    If you missed Mg217 Medicated Tar dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as you remember. If It's near time of following dose, skip the missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

    Mg217 Medicated Tar Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from light & moisture.
