K Tan Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use K Tan: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this drug, unless you're healthcare professional instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by a high fever, notify your physician. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
K Tan side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth and nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the med. If they persist or become bothersome, inform you're physician. Notify your doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.
K Tan Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, pill allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult you're healthcare professional promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. it pill should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. do not give this medication to children younger then six years of age unless directed to do so by pharmacist.
K Tan drug interactions: Tell your physician what drugs you take, especially of: HBP meds, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication, other cold or allergy drug. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. don't start or stop any medicine with out healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.
K Tan Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed K Tan dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if It's almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
