Homatropine Hydrobromide Usage: it medication relaxes muscles in the eye causing the pupil to dilate (widen). It's used at conditions where the eye is inflamed. Its also used during eye examinations.
How to use Homatropine Hydrobromide: To apply eye drops, 1st wash your hands. Be careful not to touch dropper or let it touch your eye to avoid contamination. Tilt youre head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer the prescribed number of drops. look downward & gently close some your eye for 1 or two minutes. Try not to blink & don't rub the eye. do not rinse dropper. If more than one type about eye drop is to be used, wait at least 5 minutes before using any other eye medication. don't use eye drops that have changed color.
Homatropine Hydrobromide side effects: it medication may cause temporary drowsiness or blurred vision. Use caution if driving or engaging in activities requiring alertness. Headache, brow ache, temporary burning or stinging may occur initially. These effects should disappear as youre body adjusts to the med. If they persist or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. this medication can cause your eyes to be sensitive to bright light. Wear sunglasses for protection. Inform your pharmacist if you develop: changes in vision, eye pain, sweating, trembling, rapid heartbeat. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or healthcare professional.
Homatropine Hydrobromide Precautions: do not use this drug while wearing soft contact lenses. lenses may be discolored. this medication must be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. it is not known if this medication appears in breast milk. Consult with youre healthcare professional before breast-feeding. Tell your doctor if you have: glaucoma.

If you missed Homatropine Hydrobromide dose: If you miss dose, apply as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost clock for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Homatropine Hydrobromide Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. do not freeze this medication. Store solution in a cool, dark place. Discard solution if it turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
