    Simular Drugs : Guiadex D, Guiadex Dh, Guiadex DM

    Guiadex DM Usage: this combination of cough suppressant & expectorant medicines is used to treat cough due to colds, flu or hay fever. Also, phlegm (lung secretions) may become less thick after using it drug along with fluids.

    How to use Guiadex DM: Take this medication by mouth generally four times per day with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water as needed, or as directed by your healthcare professional. Drink plenty of fluids unless otherwise directed. Notify youre physician if your condition does not improve in 7 days or if you develop high fever or persistent headache.

    Guiadex DM side effects: Nausea, drowsiness or dizziness may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify youre physician. If you notice other side effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or physician.

    Guiadex DM Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, including: allergies (especially tablet allergies). this drug may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. this medication shouldn't be given to children under 3 years of age. Ask your physician or pharmacist since more details. it combination of medications should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with youre pharmacist. it isn't known whether this combination of drugs passes into breast milk. Because of potential risk to infant, breast-feeding while using it product isn't recommended. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Guiadex DM drug interactions: Tell youre pharmacist of all prescription & nonprescription medications you use, especially of: MAO inhibitors used currently or stopped within the last two weeks (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline). Also report the use of tablets that cause drowsiness, such as: sleeping tablets, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety medications, narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines, anti-seizure meds, muscle relaxants, sedatives, antihistamines that cause drowsiness (e.g., diphenhydramine). dollars labels on every your medicines (e.g., cough-and-cold products) because they may contain drowsiness-causing ingredients. Ask your physician about safe use about those products. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.

    Guiadex DM Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.

    Guiadex DM special notes: don't share this product with others.

    If you missed Guiadex DM dose: When instructed to use this on regular schedule (not 'as needed'): if you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If this is near time of following dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

    Guiadex DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
