Benzoyl peroxide - topical

Clinac Bpo Usage: Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat mild to moderate acne.

How to use Clinac Bpo: this medication is for topical use on affected region only. Avoid using it in eyes, mouth & nose, and on inflamed or damaged skin. liquid wash or bar soap is used instead of soap one time or 2 times day. Wet the skin before applying this. Gently work up lather & rinse thoroughly. do not scrub the skin. Creams, lotions or gels are usually applied once or twice day to affected area. a small amount is applied to affected area & rubbed in gently. Pads: Wash affected area of skin with a mild cleanser & water then dry it. next apply the pad, usually one time or two times day to skin as directed.

Clinac Bpo side effects: Slight stinging, dryness & peeling may occur initially. Expect this. However, notify your pharmacist if the next effects occur: redness, irritation, scaly eruptions, rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or healthcare professional.

Clinac Bpo Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially: another skin problems, any allergies. this medication may bleach hair & colored clothing. Avoid contact. Safe use of benzoyl peroxide in child under 12 years old has not been established. Benzoyl peroxide should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. It's not known if it drug is excreted into breast milk. Though they're have no reports (to date) about harm to nursing infants, consult you're pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Clinac Bpo pill interactions: Tell your doctor of all medicines you may use, both prescription & nonprescription, especially: other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Clinac Bpo Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Clinac Bpo special notes: this med is available at many forms such as lotion, cream, gel or cleanser and in various strengths (2.5% to 10%). few can be purchased with out a prescription. Discuss various goods with your physician or pharmacist to determine best one for you.

If you missed Clinac Bpo dose: Use the missed dose as soon as you remember & resume some your regular dosing schedule.

Clinac Bpo Storage: Store between 59 and 76 degrees F (15 & 24.4 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight.
