Antipyrine with benzocaine - otic

Benzotic Usage: it medication contains benzocaine, topical anesthetic which numbs skin, & antipyrine, a pain reliever. It's used to relieve pain and discomfort of certain ear problems.

How to use Benzotic: it drug is used in ears as directed. To administer properly, lie on youre side or tilt head so ear faces up. Put prescribed number of drops into the ear using the dropper provided. do not insert the dropper into ear & avoid touching dropper to ear or any other surface. To allow drops to run in to ear canal, hold earlobe up & back at adults & down & back in children. Keep ear tilted for 1 to 2 minutes. soft cotton plug may be gently inserted into the ear to keep ear drops in place. Use plug only if directed to do so.

Benzotic side effects: Minor stinging, burning or tenderness of ear may occur when this is first used. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, or if some your symptoms do not improve within few days, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if any of following effects occur: irritation, rash, itching. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Benzotic Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have any of the following conditions: infection, any allergies. it drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist.

Benzotic medication interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Benzotic Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed. If you or someone you know may have taken this medicine by mouth, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Benzotic special notes: for comfort, drops may be warmed to body temperature by rolling the bottle in you're hands for few minutes before using them. do not heat in a microwave or place in hot water.

If you missed Benzotic dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Benzotic Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Avoid freezing.
