Roxanol T Usage: it medication is used to relieve moderate to severe pain.
How to use Roxanol T: To prevent upset stomach, take with food or milk. Pain medications work best in preventing pain before it occurs. once pain becomes intense, the medication is not as effective in relieving this. Take it as prescribed. don't increase your dose, take it more frequently or use this for longer period of time with out youre doctor's approval. Also, if used for long period about time in high doses, do not suddenly stop taking this without first consulting your physician. When used for extended periods, this medication may not work as well & may require different dosing. Consult your healthcare professional if the tablet isn't relieving pain sufficiently.
Roxanol T side effects: may cause constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, stomach upset, nausea, & flushing first few days as your body adjusts to drug. If these symptoms persist or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. To minimize constipation, increase your intake of fiber, drink plenty about water, & exercise. Stool softeners may be helpful. Ask some your doctor or physician about stool softeners & laxatives. Notify your physician if you develop: irregular heartbeat, anxiety, tremors, seizures. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Roxanol T Precautions: Tell some your doctor if you are allergic to any another narcotic pain medicine or have had substance abuse problems. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. Alcoholic beverages or other sedatives may add to effects of this medication causing dizziness or drowsiness. Ask your healthcare professional or healthcare professional about the use of alcohol. Caution is advised when using this med at the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of medication. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your physician. this drug is excreted at to breast milk & may affect the infant. Consult some your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Roxanol T drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of all prescription & nonprescription drugs you may be using especially: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), psychiatric tablets, tranquilizers, sleep tablets, zidovudine, rifampin, other narcotic pain relievers, barbiturates, cimetidine, anti-seizure drugs, antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine), alcohol. don't start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or physician approval.
Roxanol T Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slow or shallow breathing, slow heart rate, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.
Roxanol T special notes: do not share it medication with others. It's against the law.
If you missed Roxanol T dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if it is almost time since the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Roxanol T Storage: Store at room temperature away from light and moisture. do not store in the bathroom.
