Lax tablets Usage: Irritant or stimulant laxatives used to treat constipation and to clear the intestine before rectal or bowel examinations.

How to use Lax pills: Take each dose with full glass of water or juice & drink plenty about fluids while taking it medication. Chewable tablets to be chewed thoroughly. tablets are to be swallowed whole with a full glass about water. Wafers to be chewed. Laxatives shouldnot be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

Lax pills side effects: this drug may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify you're pharmacist if you experience: rectal bleeding, rapid heart rate, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, unrelieved constipation. it drug can cause the urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. do not be alarmed. this is not harmful. Prolonged, frequent or excessive use of laxatives may lead to dependency. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

Lax tablets Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional some your medical history, especially about: kidney disease, heart disease, hypertension, swelling (edema), any allergies (especially to tartrazine). Castor oil isnt recommended for use during pregnancy. Bulk producing laxatives an alternative. Discuss the risks & benefits with you're doctor. Consult your doctor before using any tablet while breast-feeding.

Lax meds drug interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with absorption of few meds, this is important to tell your pharmacist about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. Avoid the use of dairy products or antacids within one hour about taking bisacodyl pills. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or healthcare professional approval.

Lax tablets Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack of feeling alert, or dry gums & eyes.

Lax pills special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, it is important to drink plenty of fluids (4 to 6 eight ounce glasses a day), increase youre intake of fiber and roughage & exercise regularly.

If you missed Lax pills dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
