Murine Usage: this medication is used to relieve dry, irritated eyes.
How to use Murine: Use this medication in the eye as directed. To apply eye ointment/drops: Wash hands 1'st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or top of the ointment tube or let it touch your eye. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make pouch. for drops, place the dropper directly over the eye & administer prescribed number of drops. see downward and gently close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at corner of the eye near the nose and apply gentle pressure. this will prevent the drug from draining away from eye. for ointment, hold the tube directly over the eye & gently squeeze a small ribbon of ointment into eye. Slowly roll your eye in every directions to spread ointment. Try not to blink and don't rub eye. do not rinse dropper. Wash hands after use. If you using other eye medicines, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.
Murine side effects: this medication may temporarily sting some your eyes when 1st applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome or the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve within several days, inform you're physician. Vision may be temporarily unstable for few minutes after applying it. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your physician if you develop: a skin rash, itching, eye pain or redness in or around the eyes, headache. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Murine Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: other illnesses, any allergies. Tell you're physician if you pregnant before using this drug. Though, to date, no problems have been noted at nursing infants, consult your doctor before you breast-feed.
Murine pill interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, especially about: another eye drug. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Murine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Murine special notes: few products contain preservatives which can cause irritation in persons with allergies or damage soft contact lenses. Discuss various goods with your health care professional.
If you missed Murine dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if this is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Murine Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. Discard it if the solution is not clear or colorless. Close cap tightly after each use.
