Stannous fluoride dental - gel

Gel Tin Usage: this medication contains fluoride. Fluoride makes teeth more resistant to decay and bacteria that cause cavities. it medication is used as a topical gel application for teeth.
How to use Gel Tin: this drug is used as topical gel to be applied with toothbrush. Use one time or two times daily after thorough brushing & flossing. Shake excess water from toothbrush. Apply gel liberally to toothbrush (cover bristle surface completely). Brush all surfaces of teeth for 1 minute. Be sure to swish gel around and between teeth. Expectorate (spit out) any excess. do not swallow gel. do not rinse mouth, eat or drink since 30 minutes after using.
Gel Tin side effects: this medication may cause staining of teeth or tongue. the stains can be removed by you're dentist. Changes at taste can also occur while using it drug. If this medication is accidentally swallowed, stomach upset or nausea may occur. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Gel Tin Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially: all illnesses, if you are on low-salt diet, if you live in an area where the drinking water is fluoridated, allergies (especially to fluoride). this fluoride supplement is used when the drinking water contains low fluoride levels (less than 0.7 parts per million). this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor.
Gel Tin drug interactions: Tell your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Gel Tin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, excess saliva, stomach pain, diarrhea, irritability, seizures, & loss of consciousness.
Gel Tin special notes: Fluoride is found in tea, fluoridated water and fish eaten with bones such as sardines.
If you missed Gel Tin dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as remembered; do not use if Its almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Gel Tin Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
