Hm Pink Bismuth Usage: it medication is used to treat indigestion, nausea, diarrhea; to relieve stomach cramps & to prevent traveler's diarrhea.

How to use Hm Pink Bismuth: liquid form about this medication must be shaken well before pouring each dose. Chewable tablets must be chewed thoroughly or dissolved in the mouth. Non-chewable tablets & caplets must be swallowed whole with glass of water. the dose may be repeated every 30 minutes to one hour as needed but no more than 8 doses should be taken in 24 hour period.

Hm Pink Bismuth side effects: this drug is generally well tolerated. Stools may appear gray-black in color while taking this med. do not be alarmed. it will disappear when med is stopped. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Hm Pink Bismuth Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: other illnesses, allergies (especially tablet allergies). this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with you're healthcare professional. since small amounts of this drug found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Hm Pink Bismuth drug interactions: Tell some your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription tablet you may take, including: aspirin, blood thinners, tetracycline antibiotics, medications for diabetes, pills since gout. do not start or stop any medicine with out healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Hm Pink Bismuth Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include ringing in ears, dizziness, confusion, & coma.

Hm Pink Bismuth special notes: If condition for which this was prescribed does not improve after 2 days or becomes worse or if a fever is present, notify youre doctor.

If you missed Hm Pink Bismuth dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if Its near the time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Hm Pink Bismuth Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. the liquid may be stored in the refrigerator to improve the taste, but Its not necessary. do not store in bathroom.
