    Guaifenesin with pseudoephedrine - oral capsule, pill

    Guaifenesin P Ephed HCL Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

    How to use Guaifenesin P Ephed HCL: Take this med by mouth. this should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew the medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take it drug as directed. don't increase the dose or take it more many times or longer than prescribed. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.

    Guaifenesin P Ephed HCL side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the 1st few days as some your body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate it effect. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

    Guaifenesin P Ephed HCL Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history about seizures. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your pharmacist. this is not known if this med appears in breast milk; consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

    Guaifenesin P Ephed HCL drug interactions: Tell you're physician of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, medication since HBP. Tell your healthcare professional if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

    Guaifenesin P Ephed HCL Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.

    Guaifenesin P Ephed HCL special notes: do not share this product with others.

    If you missed Guaifenesin P Ephed HCL dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Guaifenesin P Ephed HCL Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
