Gel Kam Usage: Stannous fluoride makes teeth more resistant to decay and bacteria that cause cavities. this pill is used to prevent cavities.
How to use Gel Kam: this rinse is usually used immediately after brushing or flossing the teeth. Add solution to the 1/8 fluid ounce mark in the mixing vial. Add water to 1 ounce mark & mix. Place 1/2 of solution into mouth & vigorously swish for 1 minute, than spit out. Repeat the 1 minute treatment with remaining solution & spit out. If you using home irrigator, prepare 1 ounce of solution as described above. Pour in to irrigator reservoir and add 4 more ounces about water. Mix thoroughly. Use as directed.
Gel Kam side effects: Inform youre doctor if you experience mouth or gum irritation while using this medication. If your teeth become stained or change color, notify your dentist. Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, headache or muscle twitches may occur if this pill is accidentally swallowed. If these symptoms occur, contact your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Gel Kam Precautions: Tell youre pharmacist if you have any pre-existing illnesses: allergies (especially to fluoride), on a low-salt diet, live in an area where drinking water is fluoridated. this fluoride supplement is used when the drinking water contains low fluoride levels (less than 0.7 parts per million). it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor.
Gel Kam drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Gel Kam Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, excess saliva, stomach pain, diarrhea, irritability, seizures, and loss of consciousness.
Gel Kam special notes: Fluoride is found in tea, fluoridated water & fish eaten with bones such as sardines. Adequate toothbrushing should prevent any staining about teeth from occurring.
If you missed Gel Kam dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the clock for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Gel Kam Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. As with all medications, keep out of reach about children.
