Magtrate Usage: Magnesium plays a critical role in the body. It's essential for normal functioning about nerves, muscles and cells. Magnesium supplements used to treat or prevent low blood magnesium levels.

How to use Magtrate: Take this drug orally as directed. it is best taken with or just after a meal to improve absorption. Take each dose with a full glass about water. Swallow sustained release meds whole. do not crush or chew them.
Magtrate side effects: it med is generally well tolerated. Stomach upset, bloating, gas or diarrhea may occur, especially with higher doses. Notify your doctor if you experience: nausea, vomiting, any change in heart rate, flushing, faintness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.
Magtrate Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional youre medical history, especially of: kidney disease, any allergies. this drug should be used as directed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.
Magtrate drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take especially: digoxin, penicillamine, any antibiotics. Avoid taking any tetracycline or quinolone antibiotic within 1 to two hours of taking magnesium since it may interfere with absorption of antibiotic. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or doctor approval.
Magtrate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include slow heartbeat, flushing, severe drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness, & loss of consciousness.

If you missed Magtrate dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near the clock for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Magtrate Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store at bathroom.
