Dilaudid Hp Usage: this drug is used to relieve moderate to severe pain.

How to use Dilaudid Hp: Use this medication as prescribed. Pain medications work best in preventing pain before it occurs. one time the pain becomes intense, the medication isnot as effective in relieving it. Use this medication exactly as directed by your doctor. do not increase your dose, use it more frequently or use it for a longer period about time than prescribed because this drug canbe habit-forming. Also, if used for an extended period of time, do not suddenly stop using this drug without your doctor's approval. Over time, this drug may not work as well. Consult your physician if it drug isn't relieving the pain sufficiently.

Dilaudid Hp side effects: may cause constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, stomach upset, nausea or flushing. If these symptoms persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Notify your physician if you develop: irregular heartbeat, anxiety, tremors, seizures. in the unlikely series you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

Dilaudid Hp Precautions: Tell you're doctor if you have: liver disease, lung disease, asthma, colitis or another stomach problems, severe diarrhea, history about med dependency, medication allergies. Use caution when engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcohol consumption because it may add to dizziness/drowsiness effects about this med. Caution is advised when using this drug in elderly because they may be more sensitive to effects of the drug. this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. this drug may be excreted in to breast milk. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Dilaudid Hp drug interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, other narcotic pain relievers, drugs for depression, phenothiazines, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Dilaudid Hp Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include shallow & slow breathing, very slow heartbeat, fainting, seizures, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.

Dilaudid Hp special notes: To prevent constipation, increase your intake of fiber, drink plenty about water & exercise. Stool softeners may be helpful. do not share this medication with others. it is against law.

If you missed Dilaudid Hp dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost time for next dose. Instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Dilaudid Hp Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from light & moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
