Dilaudid three Usage: this med is used to relieve moderate to severe pain.

How to use Dilaudid 5: To prevent upset stomach, take with food or milk. Pain drugs work best in preventing pain before it occurs. once the pain becomes intense, medication is not as effective in relieving it. Take this as prescribed. do not increase your dose, take it more frequently or use this for a longer period of clock without youre doctor's approval. Also, if used for long period of clock at high doses, do not suddenly stop taking this without first consulting you're doctor. When used since extended periods, it tablet may not work as well & may require different dosing. Consult your physician if med isn't relieving the pain sufficiently.

Dilaudid 5 side effects: can cause constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, stomach upset, nausea, & flushing first few days as your body adjusts to the tablet. If these symptoms persist or become bothersome, inform youre healthcare professional. To minimize constipation, increase your intake about fiber, drink plenty of water, & exercise. Stool softeners may be helpful. Ask some your pharmacist or physician about stool softeners & laxatives. Notify youre healthcare professional if you develop: irregular heartbeat, anxiety, tremors, seizures. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it tablet, seek healthcare professional attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Dilaudid three Precautions: Tell you're physician if you are allergic to any other narcotic pain medicine or have had substance abuse problems. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. Alcoholic beverages or other sedatives may add to effects of this medication causing dizziness or drowsiness. Ask your doctor or physician about use about alcohol. Caution is advised when using it drug in elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of the drug. this tablet must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with some your pharmacist. this medication is excreted into breast milk & may affect the infant. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Dilaudid 5 drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about every prescription and nonprescription drugs you may be using especially: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), psychiatric drugs, tranquilizers, sleep medications, zidovudine, rifampin, other narcotic pain relievers, barbiturates, cimetidine, anti-seizure medications, antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine), alcohol. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Dilaudid three Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slow or shallow breathing, slow heart rate, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.

Dilaudid 5 special notes: do not share it medication with others. this is against law.

If you missed Dilaudid 5 dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Dilaudid three Storage: Store at room temperature away from light and moisture. do not store in bathroom.
