Morphine Sulfate Usage: it med is used since pain relief.

How to use Morphine Sulfate: Before using this pill, inspect it for floating particles or discoloration. do not use if you find either. do not substitute it for other lower strength morphine injections. Pain medications work best at preventing pain before it occurs. once the pain becomes intense, medication is not as effective in relieving this. Use this medication exactly as directed by your pharmacist. don't increase youre dose, use it more frequently or use it for longer period of time then prescribed because this drug can be habit-forming. Also, if used for an extended period of time, do not suddenly stop using it drug without your doctor's approval. Over time, this drug may not work as well. Consult some your pharmacist if this tablet is not relieving pain sufficiently.

Morphine Sulfate side effects: can cause constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, stomach upset, nausea or flushing. If these symptoms persist or worsen, inform your pharmacist. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: irregular heartbeat, anxiety, tremors, seizures. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it med, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

Morphine Sulfate Precautions: Tell youre doctor if you have: liver problems, lung disease (e.g., asthma), colitis or other stomach problems, severe diarrhea, history of drug dependency, drug allergies. If some your skin should accidentally come into contact with this drug, remove the surrounding clothing & rinse affected area with water. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcohol consumption because it may add to the dizziness/drowsiness effects of this drug. Caution is advised when using it medication in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of drug. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with you're doctor. this pill may be excreted in to breast milk. Consult youre doctor before breast-feeding.

Morphine Sulfate med interactions: Tell you're doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, other narcotic pain relievers, meds for depression, phenothiazines, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.

Morphine Sulfate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include cold & clammy skin, slowed breathing, slowed heartbeat, drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, deep sleep, & loss about consciousness.

Morphine Sulfate special notes: To prevent constipation, increase you're intake of fiber, drink plenty of water & exercise. Stool softeners may be helpful. don't share it medication with others. this is against law.

If you missed Morphine Sulfate dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if It's almost clock for the following dose. Instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Morphine Sulfate Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from light & moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
