Calamine Clear Usage: Pramoxine is topical anesthetic used on the skin to relieve minor pain, itching and discomfort. Camphor helps to relieve itching while the zinc acetate acts as protectant & a drying agent. this combination drug is used to treat certain skin conditions such as insect bites, irritation, rash due to poison oak, poison ivy or poison sumac.
How to use Calamine Clear: this medication is for use on skin only. To apply, clean and dry the affected region as directed. Apply small amount to skin area & rub in gently. Cover with a bandage if told to do so. Wash hands thoroughly after use. lotion may be applied to gauze or a bandage 1st. do not use large amounts or use this more often then prescribed since chance for side effects may be increased. Avoid contact with the eyes. Use sparingly on children or elderly persons since they may be more sensitive to effects of it drug when used in big amounts. don't ingest this tablet.
Calamine Clear side effects: this medication may cause temporary redness or minor irritation when 1-st applied. If these symptoms continue or become worse inform your doctor. Notify your physician if you develop: swelling/itching/rash where medication was applied. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.
Calamine Clear Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: other skin conditions, any drug allergies. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. it is not known if this med is found in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Calamine Clear drug interactions: Tell youre pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you use, including: all skin products. do not start or stop any medicine with-out physician or pharmacist approval.
Calamine Clear Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Calamine Clear special notes: Use it only for the condition for which it was prescribed. If condition does not improve or becomes worse after a several days, notify your physician.
If you missed Calamine Clear dose: If you miss a dose, apply this as soon as remembered; do not use this if It's near the clock for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Calamine Clear Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. money the expiration date on the tube and discard any expired medication.
