Oramorph Sr Usage: this tablet is used to relieve moderate to severe pain.

How to use Oramorph Sr: To prevent upset stomach, take with food or milk. Swallow pills whole. do not chew or crush them. Pain medications work best in preventing pain before it occurs. once the pain becomes intense, pill is not as effective in relieving this. Use this drug exactly as directed by your physician. do not increase your dose, use it more frequently or use it since a longer period of clock than prescribed because it drug can be habit-forming. Also, if used for an extended period, do not suddenly stop using this pill with out your doctor's approval. Over time, this drug may not work as well. Consult your doctor if this drug isnot relieving the pain sufficiently.

Oramorph Sr side effects: can cause constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, stomach upset, nausea, & flushing first several days as some your body adjusts to medication. If these symptoms persist or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify youre healthcare professional if you develop: irregular heartbeat, anxiety, tremors, seizures. at unlikely chapter you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or doctor.

Oramorph Sr Precautions: Tell some your pharmacist your medical history, especially about: kidney or liver disease, breathing problems, history of alcohol and/or med use, colitis or other intestinal/stomach problems, severe diarrhea, head injury, heart problems, drug allergies. Use caution when engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving. Limit alcohol intake because it may add to the dizziness/drowsiness effects of this medication. Caution is advised when using it medication at the elderly because they may be more sensitive to effects of the drug. this medication should be used during pregnancy only when clearly needed. Discuss risks & benefits with you're doctor. this pill is excreted into breast milk. Though to date, no problems have been noted in nursing infants, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Oramorph Sr drug interactions: Tell your physician of all medications you taking, both prescription & nonprescription, especially of: alcohol- containing tablets, tranquilizers, antidepressants, buprenorphine, seizure drugs, naltrexone, zidovudine, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Oramorph Sr Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include cold and clammy skin, low body temperature, slowed breathing, slowed heartbeat, drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, deep sleep, & loss of consciousness.

Oramorph Sr special notes: To prevent constipation increase youre intake about fiber, drink plenty about water & exercise. Stool softeners may be helpful. do not allow anyone else to take your medication: It's against the law.

If you missed Oramorph Sr dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if It's almost time since the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Oramorph Sr Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
