Mapap Usage: it drug is used to relieve mild to moderate pain and to reduce fever.
How to use Mapap: If the suppository is too soft to insert, put it in cold water or refrigerate for 30 minutes before removing the foil wrapper. Unwrap foil & moisten the suppository with little water. Lie down on youre left side with right knee bent. Push the suppository into the rectum with your finger. Remain lying down for few minutes and avoid having bowel movement for an hour or longer so the drug will be absorbed. Take it tablet as directed. don't take more many times then recommended. do not use for more then 10 days without consulting your doctor. Not to be given to children under 3 years of age with out doctor's approval. do not take more acetaminophen than recommended (see Side Effects section).
Mapap side effects: When taken as directed, most people experience very small amount or no side effects with it med. Tell your pharmacist immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: easy bruising or bleeding, persistent sore throat or other signs of infection. If you do not have liver problems, adult maximum dose of acetaminophen is 4 grams daily (4000 milligrams). If you take more than maximum per day amount, it can cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. Tell your healthcare professional immediately if you have any of following symptoms of liver damage: severe nausea, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, stomach pain, extreme fatigue. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Mapap Precautions: If you have any of the following health problems, consult your healthcare professional before using this medication: liver disease, alcohol dependency, any allergies. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage. per day use about alcohol, especially when combined with acetaminophen, may increase your risk for liver damage. check with your doctor or doctor for more information. Acetaminophen is often used instead of aspirin. They equally effective at relieving pain. However, acetaminophen does not reduce swelling and inflammation like aspirin does. Aspirin is drug of choice in arthritis. there many brands & forms about acetaminophen on market. Read the dosing instructions carefully as the amount of acetaminophen may vary among goods. Acetaminophen appears to be safe for use during pregnancy. Use only if clearly needed. Acetaminophen is found in breast milk, but side effects in nursing infants have not been reported. Consult you're doctor if you are breast-feeding.
Mapap drug interactions: Tell you're doctor of every nonprescription & prescription drugs you use, especially of: isoniazid, phenytoin, phenobarbital, zidovudine, sulfinpyrazone. Acetaminophen is an ingredient in many nonprescription products & in few combination prescription medications. Read labels carefully before taking another pain relievers, fever reducers, or cold products to watch if they also contain acetaminophen. Consult your pharmacist if you are uncertain if your other prescription or nonprescription products contain acetaminophen. (Also see adult maximum daily dose information in Side Effects section). don't start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Mapap Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed. Symptoms about overdose may include vomiting, excessive sweating, severe nausea, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, stomach pain, extreme fatigue.
Mapap special notes: Acetaminophen does not cause the stomach & intestinal ulcers that aspirin and aspirin-like NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen, ketoprofen) may cause.
If you missed Mapap dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost clock for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Mapap Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. May also refrigerate.
