    Lidocaine HCL Usage: this medication is an anesthetic used on the skin to relieve itching & pain associated with various skin disorders such as insect bites, burns, scrapes, plant poisonings, hemorrhoids. Lidocaine may also be used to relieve irritation & inflammation in the mouth & throat. some forms of it drug used during certain procedures to reduce pain.

    How to use Lidocaine HCL: this drug is for topical use only. To use ointment & creams on the skin, clean & dry affected area as directed. for best results, apply the ointment or cream to bandage or gauze before placing this on the skin. Or use gloves or an applicator. Wash hands after use. Use carefully if applying to the face. Avoid contact with eyes. don't use more than prescribed, use it more often or use this since longer then prescribed. you're condition will not clear faster, but side effects may be increased.

    Lidocaine HCL side effects: Notify your healthcare professional if you develop any of these symptoms: stinging, burning, redness, tenderness, swelling, rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

    Lidocaine HCL Precautions: Tell some your healthcare professional if you have: heart disease, another illnesses, infections, allergies (especially drug allergies). it med must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with youre physician. this drug passes into breast milk. Consult some your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

    Lidocaine HCL drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you use, especially of: every skin products. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

    Lidocaine HCL Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Lidocaine HCL special notes: If condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a few days, notify your doctor.

    If you missed Lidocaine HCL dose: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not apply this if it is near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Lidocaine HCL Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Keep spray away from heat or open flames. bucks the expiration date on the container and discard any unused medication after that date.
