Uad Caine drug interactions: it drug isn't recommended for use with: dofetilide, arbutamine, pimozide, halofantrine. Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially: other anesthetics (e.g., bupivacaine), procainamide, tocainide, cimetidine, beta- blockers (e.g., propranolol, atenolol, metoprolol), amiodarone, mexilitine, succinylcholine, vasopressor drugs (e.g., dobutamine), ergot-type oxytocic (e.g., ergonovine). Tell some your pharmacist if you take meds that cause drowsiness such as: medicine since sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety drugs (e.g., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., phenothiazines or tricyclics), anti- seizure meds (e.g., carbamazepine), muscle relaxants, antihistamines that cause drowsiness (e.g., diphenhydramine). cash labels on all you're medicines (e.g., cough-and-cold products) because they can contain drowsiness-causing ingredients.
