Adderall Usage: this medication stimulates nerve cells in brain. it is used to treat narcolepsy. It's also used in persons with an attention deficit disorder who show signs about hyperactivity.
How to use Adderall: It's best to take it drug early in day to prevent trouble sleeping at night. Use this pill exactly as prescribed. do not increase your dose, take this more frequently or use it for a longer period of time than prescribed because it tablet can be habit-forming. Also, if used for an extended period of time, do not suddenly stop using it drug without your doctor's approval. When used for an extended period, this drug may not work as well and may require different dosing. talk with youre doctor if this med stops working well. in attention deficit disorder, youre pharmacist may recommend 'drug holidays' where drug is stopped temporarily & behavior is evaluated.
Adderall side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, cramps, loss of appetite, diarrhea, constipation, dry mouth, headache, nervousness, dizziness, sleep problems, irritability or restlessness may occur first several days as your body adjusts to the med. other side effects reported include twitching, sweating, flushing, muscle tremor, change in sexual desire or ability. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician promptly. Notify your doctor promptly if you develop: chest pain, rapid heartbeat, mental/mood changes. this drug causes dizziness & can affect alertness. Adderall Precautions: it pill can be habit forming and must be used with caution. Alcohol can increase unwanted side effects about dizziness. Avoid alcohol use. Tell your physician your complete medical history, especially of: HBP, an over-active thyroid, glaucoma, diabetes, emotional problems, substance abuse problems. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult youre physician or pharmacist for more details. Avoid 'stimulant' drugs that may increase your heart rate such as decongestants or caffeine. Decongestants are commonly found in over-the-counter cough-and-cold medicine. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Adderall Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain or cramping, restlessness, shakiness, confusion, quick or irregular heartbeat, severe or persistent headache, seizures, and loss of consciousness.
