Protropin Usage: this medication is a growth hormone. Its used to stimulate growth in kid who do not produce enough growth hormone about their own.

How to use Protropin: this drug is given by injection into a muscle o under the skin. It's usually given three times week. for best results, it medication must be given exactly as prescribed. don't use more of this drug than prescribed or use it more many times since risk of side effects will be increased. It's important to understand some your therapy and to follow youre doctor's instructions closely. Be sure to ask your healthcare professional any questions you may have.

Protropin side effects: Headache, fatigue or muscle pain may occur. If these symptoms continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify some your doctor if you experience: hip pain, knee pain, unusual weakness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Protropin Precautions: this medication is for use in children only. it should not be used in adults or during pregnancy. Tell your healthcare professional if you have history about: tumors, another illnesses, allergies (especially to benzyl alcohol). a preservative (benzyl alcohol) which may be found in this product or in liquid used to mix this product (diluent) can infrequently cause serious problems (sometimes death) if given by injection to an infant during 1st months of life (neonatal period). risk is greater with lower birth weight infants & is greater with increased amounts of benzyl alcohol. Symptoms include sudden gasping, low blood pressure, or very slow heartbeat. Report these symptoms to healthcare professional immediately should they occur. If possible, a preservative-free product should be used when treating neonates.

Protropin tablet interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
