Nitrotab Usage: Nitroglycerin relaxes blood vessels allowing more blood to flow through. this reduces workload on heart and improves blood flow to heart. Sublingual nitroglycerin tablets act quickly to relieve chest pain (angina).

How to use Nitrotab: at first sign of chest pain, sit down & place one tablet under tongue or between your cheek & gum allowing it to dissolve. the drug is absorbed directly through lining of mouth. don't chew or swallow the pill. don't eat, drink or smoke while nitroglycerin is in your mouth. Effects must begin in 1 to 3 minutes. If after 5 minutes they're is no relief of chest pain, take another tablet. If theyre is no relief after taking three tablets, call your pharmacist immediately or go to hospital emergency room. Carry this medication with you at all times.

Nitrotab side effects: Headache, dizziness, flushing, rapid heartbeat or restlessness may occur as youre body adjusts to the drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. To prevent dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Notify youre pharmacist if you experience blurred vision, dry mouth, skin rash or nausea. Headache is often sign pill is working. Treat headaches with an aspirin or non-aspirin pain reliever as recommended by your physician. If headaches continue or become severe, notify your pharmacist. in the unlikely series you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or pharmacist.

Nitrotab Precautions: Before using it medication tell your physician your medical history especially of: heart problems, head injury or surgery, glaucoma, thyroid conditions, anemia, alcohol usage, any medication allergies. Use caution engaging in activities that require alertness or in operating machinery if this medication makes you dizzy or drowsy. Alcoholic beverages may increase the risk of fainting or of experiencing dizziness. this medication should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss the risks & benefits with you're doctor. It's not known if this drug is excreted in to breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Nitrotab medication interactions: this drug isn't recommended for use with sildenafil. Ask your physician or pharmacist for more details. Tell some your physician of every medications you may use including prescription & nonprescription medications and especially: drugs for high blood pressure, certain migraine pills (ergot alkaloids), aspirin. do not start or stop any medicine with-out healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Nitrotab Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include persistent, throbbing headache; dizziness; confusion; weakness; sweating; changes in heart rate; changes in vision; flushing; nausea; & vomiting.

Nitrotab special notes: some persons may develop tolerance to the effects of this medication over time. Notify your healthcare professional if drug appears to be losing it is effectiveness or if chest pain continues while taking it drug.

If you missed Nitrotab dose: this medication is used only at the onset of an attack of chest pain or 10 to 15 minutes before engaging in an activity that may cause chest pain. this med isn't for routine use.

Nitrotab Storage: If bottle of tablets contains cotton, remove it & throw cotton away. Replacing the cotton in bottle can cause medication to lose It's effectiveness. Store it drug at room temperature away from heat, moisture & sunlight. Store at Its original glass bottle and keep it tightly closed. do not store in bathroom. pills effective for up to 6 months after opening a bottle. Discard any unused meds after six months.
