Nitroquick Usage: Nitroglycerin relaxes blood vessels allowing more blood to flow through. this reduces workload on the heart & improves blood flow to heart. Sublingual nitroglycerin tablets act quickly to relieve chest pain (angina).
How to use Nitroquick: in 1'st sign of chest pain, sit down & place one tablet under the tongue or between you're cheek and gum allowing it to dissolve. drug is absorbed directly through lining of mouth. do not chew or swallow the tablet. do not eat, drink or smoke while nitroglycerin is in your mouth. Effects should begin in 1 to 3 minutes. If after 5 minutes there is no relief of chest pain, take another tablet. If theyre is no relief after taking three pills, call you're doctor immediately or go to hospital emergency room. Carry it medication with you at every times.
Nitroquick side effects: Headache, dizziness, flushing, rapid heartbeat or restlessness may occur as your body adjusts to the drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. To prevent dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Notify your healthcare professional if you experience blurred vision, dry mouth, skin rash or nausea. Headache is many times a sign medication is working. Treat headaches with an aspirin or non-aspirin pain reliever as recommended by youre physician. If headaches continue or become severe, notify you're doctor. at the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek doctor attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.
Nitroquick Precautions: Before using this medication tell some your pharmacist your medical history especially of: heart problems, head injury or surgery, glaucoma, thyroid conditions, anemia, alcohol usage, any tablet allergies. Use caution engaging in activities that require alertness or in operating machinery if it medication makes you dizzy or drowsy. Alcoholic beverages may increase the risk about fainting or of experiencing dizziness. this drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor. it is not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult you're physician before breast-feeding.
Nitroquick drug interactions: this drug is not recommended since use with sildenafil. Ask your healthcare professional or pharmacist since more details. Tell your pharmacist of every medications you may use including prescription and nonprescription drugs & especially: medications for high blood pressure, certain migraine drugs (ergot alkaloids), aspirin. do not start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Nitroquick Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include persistent, throbbing headache; dizziness; confusion; weakness; sweating; changes in heart rate; changes in vision; flushing; nausea; & vomiting.
Nitroquick special notes: few persons may develop tolerance to effects of this drug over time. Notify your doctor if medication appears to be losing It's effectiveness or if chest pain continues while taking this medication.
If you missed Nitroquick dose: this drug is used only at onset of an attack of chest pain or 10 to 15 minutes before engaging in an activity that may cause chest pain. this medication is not for routine use.
Nitroquick Storage: If the bottle about tablets contains cotton, remove it & throw the cotton away. Replacing the cotton in the bottle may cause the drug to lose Its effectiveness. Store this med in room temperature away from heat, moisture and sunlight. Store in Its original glass bottle and keep it tightly closed. don't store in the bathroom. tablets effective since up to 6 months after opening bottle. Discard any unused tablets after 6 months.
