Levobunolol HCL Usage: this medication is used to reduce pressure in eye caused by glaucoma or other eye conditions.
How to use Levobunolol HCL: To instill eye drops, wash hands 1st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper or let it touch your eye. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer the prescribed number about drops. watch downward and gently close you're eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Try not to blink & do not rub eye. do not rinse dropper. for maximum effect, this medication must be used routinely as prescribed.
Levobunolol HCL side effects: this drug may temporarily sting youre eyes for a minute or two when you 1-st use it. If stinging persists or becomes bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable after applying drops. Use caution driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your physician if you experience any of these rarely occurring side effects: dizziness, drowsiness, depression, irregular or slow heartbeat. in the unlikely episode you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Levobunolol HCL Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially about: diabetes, thyroid disorders, muscle weakness disorders, breathing problems, heart problems, any allergies. If you are scheduled since surgery that requires anesthesia, tell healthcare professional treating you that you use it drug. If you have eye surgery, injury or infection consult your eye healthcare professional about continued use of this current eye drop bottle. this med must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. this medication may be excreted into breast milk & may have undesirable effects on a nursing infant. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Levobunolol HCL drug interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: another drugs used since glaucoma, theophylline, drugs used for high blood pressure, heart medications, diabetes drugs, drugs used since colds or nasal congestion. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Levobunolol HCL Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed. Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, slow heart rate, or breathing difficulties.
Levobunolol HCL special notes: Discard the solution if it turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
If you missed Levobunolol HCL dose: If you must miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. However, if It's almost time for the following dose, skip missed dose & resume regular dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Levobunolol HCL Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
