Isordil Usage: this drug relaxes blood vessels allowing more blood to flow through. it improves blood flow to the heart. Oral dose forms used to prevent angina (chest pain). this pill isnot for treating an attack of chest pain that is already happening.

How to use Isordil: it medication is best taken on an empty stomach with a full glass of water. Take exactly as prescribed. To be effective at preventing chest pain, you must continue taking this medication even if you feel well. Sustained-release or long acting meds and capsules must be swallowed whole. Crushing or chewing them destroys long action and may increase side effects. don't stop taking it drug suddenly without consulting your pharmacist. few conditions may become worse when the pill is suddenly stopped. you're dose may need to be gradually decreased. Notify your pharmacist if tablet does not appear to be as effective. don't increase your dose or take it more much times then prescribed without consulting youre pharmacist.

Isordil side effects: Headache, dizziness, flushing, rapid heartbeat or restlessness may occur as your body adjusts to drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To prevent dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Notify your doctor if you experience: blurred vision, dry mouth, skin rash, nausea. Headache is often sign the pill is working. Treat headaches with an aspirin or non-aspirin pain reliever as recommended by youre physician. If the headaches continue or become severe, notify youre healthcare professional. in unlikely episode you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

Isordil Precautions: Before using this med tell your pharmacist youre medical history especially about: heart problems, head injury or surgery, glaucoma, thyroid conditions, anemia, alcohol usage, tablet allergies. Isordil drug interactions: Tell your doctor of every medications you may use including prescription & nonprescription pills, especially of: medications for hypertension, certain migraine drugs (ergot alkaloids), sildenafil, high doses of aspirin. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
