Guapetex HC Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosen mucus. decongestant relieves nasal stuffiness. the low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control cough. this combination pill is used to treat cough and relieve symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Guapetex HC: this medication is best taken with, or after, meal or snack. Take it drug as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed.
Guapetex HC side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or anxiety may occur 1st some days as some your body adjusts to the drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your physician if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, painful or difficult urination, tremors, nervousness, trouble sleeping, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or doctor.
Guapetex HC Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, history of tablet dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this medication causes you to feel drowsy. check it product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. this product must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. at least one of the ingredients in it combination product is known to be excreted into breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Guapetex HC drug interactions: Tell youre physician of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, MAO inhibitors (e.g., selegiline, linezolid, furazolidone, phenelzine, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Guapetex HC Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slow or shallow breathing, slow heart rate, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.
Guapetex HC special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it med. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Guapetex HC dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if Its near the time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Guapetex HC Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. don't store in bathroom.
