    Clobetasol scalp solution - topical

    (kloh-bay-tuh-sall)

    common brand names: Cormax, Temovate

    Embeline Usage: Clobetasol is a corticosteroid that treats swelling, redness & itching. it is used since various scalp conditions.

    Embeline canbe used also for: this drug may also be used since certain skin conditions.

    How to use Embeline: Apply small amount and gently rub into affected region. Generally this medicine is used at the morning and at night. Follow every instructions carefully & do not use this product more often or longer than prescribed; an increase in side effects could occur. usual recommended treatment period is 2 weeks. don't bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you instructed to do so by your doctor. You should notice improvement within one week.

    Embeline side effects: Burning, stinging or a form of acne might occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your healthcare professional. Unlikely but report promptly: rash, itching. Very unlikely but report promptly: unusual increase in thirst or urination, vision problems, headache, unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.

    Embeline Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, including: any allergies, scalp/skin infections. don't get this medicine in your eye. If you do, flush it immediately with big amount of water. Though very unlikely, it is possible it medication will be absorbed into your bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true since kid & for those who have used it for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies since up to one year after stopping use of this drug. Consult youre doctor or pharmacist for more details. this medication should be used during pregnancy only when clearly needed. Discuss risks & benefits with you're pharmacist. It's not known whether this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. it drug is not recommended for use in kid under 12 years of age. kid may be more sensitive to drug side effects with prolonged use, including growth patterns. Consult you're healthcare professional.

    Embeline drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of all nonprescription & prescription drug you may use, especially: other scalp/skin drug, corticosteroid drugs (e.g., prednisone). don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Embeline Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Embeline special notes: Inform all your doctors you use (or have used) this medication. don't share this tablet with others.

    If you missed Embeline dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if this is almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Embeline Storage: Store at room temperature between 39 and 77 degrees F (4-25 degrees C) away from light & moisture.
