Corticosteroids - oral aerosol inhaler

warning: If you have switched from an oral corticosteroid (e.g., prednisone tablets) to this inhaler within the past 12 months, your body may not produce enough natural steroids. You may need to start taking additional corticosteroids, especially if your body is stressed due to major infections such as stomach infections (gastroenteritis), surgery, or injury. Deaths have occurred during such stresses, due to low steroid levels. Consult your doctor or physician now for specific advice regarding stress situations; you may need to carry supply about corticosteroid tablets as precaution. Routine blood tests may be performed (e.g., morning cortisol levels). Seek immediate healthcare attention if you experience any of following signs of low steroid levels: unusual weakness, sudden weight loss, vomiting, fainting or severe dizziness. Carry warning card or medical ID bracelet that identifies youre need for oral corticosteroids during times about stres as noted.

Beclovent Usage: Inhaled corticosteroids work directly in lungs to open airways & make breathing easier by relieving inflammation. this med must be used regularly to prevent wheezing and shortness about breath caused by asthma, bronchitis or emphysema. this tablet does not work immediately. Therefore it does not relieve an acute attack.

How to use Beclovent: Make sure you understand how to use inhaler properly. Shake canister well before using. When using the inhaler for first time, test the unit by spraying at least one time into air. a fine mist indicates that the inhaler is working properly. It's recommended you use spacer/holding chamber. Ask your healthcare professional or physician about it. If using without a spacing device, place the canister near your mouth & exhale. Depress canister as you inhale deeply. Hold youre breath for few seconds to allow drug to be absorbed. Shake the inhaler again before using. If more than one inhalation is prescribed, wait one full minute between inhalations so you get the full effects of 1st dose. If using other inhalers, wait several minutes between the use of inhalers & use this one (the corticosteroid) last. Gargle & rinse your mouth after using it to help prevent dryness, relieve throat irritation & to prevent oral yeast infections. don't swallow the rinse solution. Use this med exactly as prescribed. don't use this more frequently without your doctor's approval.

Beclovent side effects: can cause cough, a dry irritated throat, unpleasant taste, hoarseness or nasal congestion, pain or headache. If these effects continue or become bothersome, contact your doctor. Notify your pharmacist if you experience: white-colored tongue, prolonged mouth or throat irritation, vision changes. Contact you're pharmacist if you experience any of the following signs about low steroid levels: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea, vomiting, fainting, dizziness. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek healthcare attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're physician or pharmacist.

Beclovent Precautions: Before you use it drug, tell your physician your medical history including: all illnesses and infections, recent exposure to contagious diseases (e.g., chickenpox), glaucoma, cataracts, allergies (especially drug allergies). If within past 12 months you have switched from an oral corticosteroid (e.g., prednisone) to this inhaler, or if you had been using this product in higher-than-usual doses & suddenly stopped using it, you're body may not produce enough natural steroids. You may need to start taking additional corticosteroids, especially if youre body is stressed due to major infection, surgery or injury. Consult youre physician. If you cough up mucus that has thickened or changed color from clear white to yellow, green, or gray, contact your physician; these changes may be signs of an infection. children and teenagers should be monitored for proper growth patterns while using any corticosteroid medicine. it medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. this med may be excreted in to breast milk. Consult youre doctor before breast-feeding.

Beclovent drug interactions: Before you use this drug tell some your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medications you are taking, especially of: oral corticosteroids (e.g., dexamethasone, prednisone). do not start or stop any medicine with-out physician or physician approval.

Beclovent Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Beclovent special notes: do not share it drug with others. Inform all you're physicians you use (or have used) this med.

If you missed Beclovent dose: Use the missed dose as soon as remembered. Use remaining doses since that day at evenly spaced intervals.

Beclovent Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep from getting too cold or freezing.

Medical alert: your condition may cause complications in medical emergency.
