Ventolin Usage: it medication relaxes smooth muscle in lungs & dilates airways to improve breathing. It's used in treatment of asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema.

How to use Ventolin: Oral pill may be taken with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Take this med exactly as prescribed. do not take it more frequently without your doctor's approval. Excessive use may result in decreased efficacy & increased side effects.

Ventolin side effects: Dizziness, headache, lightheadedness, heartburn, loss of appetite, altered taste sensation, restlessness, anxiety, nervousness, trembling or sweating may occur but should subside as your body adjust to medication. If these symptoms persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Notify some your healthcare professional if you experience: chest pain, palpitations, vomiting, breathing difficulties. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Ventolin Precautions: Tell some your pharmacist if you have: heart disease, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid gland, epilepsy, diabetes. Tell your pharmacist if you ever had bad reaction to bitolterol, ephedrine, epinephrine, metaproterenol, phenylephrine, phenylpropanolamine, pseudoephedrine, or terbutaline. many nonprescription products contain these drugs (e.g., diet pills & med since colds and asthma), so money the labels carefully. do not take any of these drugs without consulting your pharmacist (even if you never had problem taking them before). don't allow anyone else to take this medication. Before you use it drug, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. this medication shouldnot be used unless clearly needed if you are pregnant.

Ventolin drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about every prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially about: meds used for asthma, antidepressants, cold meds, beta-blockers (e.g., atenolol, propranolol). do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Ventolin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include seizures, fast irregular heart rate, nervousness, dizziness, fatigue, sleeplessness, headache, tremors, dry mouth, nausea, or chest pain.

Ventolin special notes: If symptoms don't improve or worsen after taking it medication, call you're doctor immediately.

If you missed Ventolin dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost clock since following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
