Ventolin Usage: it drug relaxes smooth muscle in the lungs & dilates airways to improve breathing. Its used in treatment of asthma, chronic bronchitis, & emphysema. inhaler enables drug to reach deep into lungs for maximum benefit.
How to use Ventolin: Make sure you understand how to use the inhaler properly. Shake the canister well before using. few products require priming before very 1st use, or if several days pass between uses. Consult youre pharmacist for more details. Place the canister near your mouth and exhale. Depress spray as you inhale deeply. Hold your breath for some seconds to allow the drug to be absorbed. If more than one inhalation is prescribed, wait at least one full minute between inhalations. Rinse your mouth after using to help prevent dryness & relieve throat irritation. Use this medication exactly as prescribed. do not use it more frequently with out your doctor's approval. Excessive use may make drug less effective & may increase side effects. If you find yourself using more then usual, contact your healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after using this drug or if you find yourself using this more than usual, contact your doctor immediately.
Ventolin side effects: Dry mouth, irritated throat, dizziness, headache, lightheadedness, heartburn, loss about appetite, altered taste sensation, restlessness, anxiety, nervousness, trembling, & sweating may occur but should subside as your body adjusts to the drug. If these symptoms persist or worsen, inform you're pharmacist. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. Inform your physician if you experience: chest pain, pounding heartbeat, breathing difficulties. in the unlikely chapter you have an allergic reaction to it tablet, seek doctor attention immediately. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Ventolin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include seizures, dizziness, headache, unusually quick heart- beat, muscle weakness, sleeplessness, or chest pain.
