Airet Usage: this drug works in lungs to open breathing passages to make breathing easier. it is used to prevent & treat asthma attacks or other breathing problems.
How to use Airet: it medication is inhaled into the lungs using special breathing (nebulizer) equipment usually 3 to four times a day. a health care professional will demonstrate proper way to measure the med & use equipment. Make sure you understand how to operate device & ask any questions you may have. Use it medication as directed. do not increase your dose or use this more frequently than directed. Excessive use may lead to loss of effectiveness while increasing the chance for side effects. do not stop using this medication with out 1st consulting your healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after using it med or if you find yourself using this more then usual, contact your doctor immediately.
Airet side effects: Tremor, nervousness, shakiness, headache, nausea, lightheadedness, difficulty sleeping, unusual taste in mouth, increased appetite, muscle cramps, flushing or dry throat may occur first several days as your body adjusts to the drug. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: rapid heartbeat, chest pain, dizziness, coughing, wheezing. in unlikely series you have an allergic reaction to this medication, seek healthcare attention immediately. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or healthcare professional.
Airet Precautions: Before using this med, tell your healthcare professional you're medical history, especially of: an overactive thyroid, heart disease, HBP, epilepsy, diabetes, medication allergies. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. it is not known if this medication is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Airet drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of every over-the-counter or prescription drug you may use, including: all asthma drugs, blood pressure or chest pain medications, beta-blockers (e.g., propranolol), levodopa, digoxin, certain antidepressants (e.g., amitriptyline, doxepin), MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), ritodrine, other 'adrenalin' drugs, thyroid drugs, caffeine, diuretics (e.g., hydrochlorothiazide). do not start or stop any medicine with-out physician or healthcare professional approval.
Airet Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include chest pain, quick or irregular heartbeat, headache, tremors, nervousness, weakness, and dizziness.
Airet special notes: If this medication appears to be losing Its effectiveness, notify your doctor. change in your therapy may be necessary.
If you missed Airet dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
