Intal Usage: it medication is used to prevent asthma attacks. it is not effective in treating an attack 1 time it begins. Cromolyn is also used just before exercising to minimize breathing problems & before exposure to pollutants or substances that cause allergic reactions/breathing problems.

How to use Intal: it solution is placed in special nebulizer unit (breathing machine) and inhaled through a mask. Ask your doctor or pharmacist to demonstrate the proper way to use the nebulizer. this med must be used routinely as directed to prevent asthma attacks. it is not useful in stopping an attack in progress. do not use it more often, increase you're dose or stop using this without first consulting youre pharmacist.

Intal side effects: it medication may cause nasal stuffiness, nasal itching or burning, sneezing, or stomach pain the 1st several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these symptoms persist or worsen, inform youre doctor. Notify your healthcare professional if you experience: coughing, wheezing. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Intal Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: kidney or liver disease, any allergies. Tell you're physician if you are pregnant before using this medication. It's not known if cromolyn is excreted into breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

Intal medication interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may use, especially of: other asthma drugs. do not start or stop any medicine with out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Intal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Intal special notes: Cromolyn is also available as an aerosol spray & capsules, both for inhalation. do not share it med with others.

If you missed Intal dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use it if this is near time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Intal Storage: Store solution at room temperature below 86 degrees F (below 30 degrees C) away from heat and direct light. do not store in bathroom. Discard solution if it turns color or contains particles.

Medical alert: you're condition may cause complications at medical emergency.
