    Singulair Usage: this medication is used to control chronic asthma to help decrease the number of asthma attacks. it is also used to treat hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis). this pill works by blocking substances in body called leukotrienes. Blocking leukotrienes improves asthma & seasonal allergic rhinitis symptoms.

    How to use Singulair: Take it medicine as directed, generally one tablet (10mg) daily with or without food. If taking for asthma, take medicine in the evening. If taking for hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis), take medicine in of the same clock each day (either morning or evening). If you are taking this drug for both asthma & hay fever, take the medicine at evening. Keep taking this medicine every day, even during asthma attacks and periods when you have no asthma symptoms. this drug does not relieve acute asthma attacks. Use you're prescribed acute asthma attack medicines (and pre-exercise medicines for exercise-related asthma) as directed. Consult youre physician or physician for specific advice on your drug therapy. don't decrease or stop any asthma medicine unless instructed to do so by your healthcare professional. Report promptly to you're physician or physician any worsening about asthma symptoms, if you're short-acting inhaler use increases or if use exceeds 24 hour maximum prescribed by youre pharmacist. this medicine may come with patient information leaflet. Read it carefully. Ask youre healthcare professional, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have of it medicine.

    Singulair side effects: Unusual weakness, stomach upset, diarrhea, dizziness, cough, headache, nausea, vomiting, trouble sleeping, or mouth pain may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: hallucinations, fever, persistent sore throat or earache, flu symptoms. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: stomach pain, muscle aches/cramps, irregular heartbeat, yellowing eyes & skin, numbness or tingling of the hands or feet, simple bruising or bleeding, swelling, seizures. An allergic reaction to it drug is unlikely, but seek immeditial doctor attention if this occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, severe swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

    Singulair Precautions: Before using this drug, tell youre doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: allergies (especially med allergies), liver disease. Use about this drug in kid under the age about 15 years is not recommended. it drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor. this isnot known whether this tablet is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Singulair drug interactions: Before using this medication, tell your pharmacist or physician of every prescription & nonprescription products you may use, especially of: rifamycin antibiotics (e.g., rifampin), certain medications which stimulate liver metabolism (e.g., phenytoin, phenobarbital, carbamazepine), all drugs used since asthma. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.

    Singulair Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include thirst, drowsiness, dilated pupils, increased muscle movements, or severe stomach pain.

    Singulair special notes: don't share it pill with others. Laboratory and/or medical test should be performed periodically to monitor you're progress or check for side effects. Consult you're healthcare professional for more details.

    If you missed Singulair dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If this is near time of the following dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Singulair Storage: Store in room temperature at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) away from light & moisture. Brief storage between 59 & 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) is permitted. do not store in bathroom. Keep every medicines away from children & pets.

    Medical alert: you're condition may cause complications in a medical emergency.
