Ed Doxy Caps Usage: Doxycycline is an antibiotic used to treat wide variety of bacterial infections.

How to use Ed Doxy Caps: Take each dose with full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water unless you're doctor directs you otherwise. do not lie down since 30 minutes after taking this drug. Take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs unless your healthcare professional directs you otherwise. Take this drug 2-3 hours before or after taking any medications containing magnesium, aluminum, or calcium. some examples include quinapril, didanosine, vitamins/minerals, & antacids. Sucralfate, bismuth subsalicylate, iron, & zinc also included. These medications bind with doxycycline preventing Its full absorption. liquid suspension form of this medicine must be shaken well before using. Antibiotics work best when amount of medicine in your body is kept at constant level. Do it by taking medicine in evenly spaced intervals throughout the day and night. Continue to take this tablet until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after several days. Stopping the tablet too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting at relapse of infection.

Ed Doxy Caps side effects: it drug may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, headache or vomiting. If these symptoms persist or worsen, notify your healthcare professional. Very unlikely but report: stomach pain, yellowing about the eyes or skin, vision changes, mental changes. Doxycycline increases sensitivity to sunlight. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.

Ed Doxy Caps Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially about: liver problems, kidney problems, allergies (especially medication allergies), trouble swallowing, esophagus problems (e.g., hiatal hernia, GERD). Use about it pill for prolonged or repeated periods may result in secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). Doxycycline may make you more prone to sunburn. Wear protective clothing & sunscreen if needed. this med should not be used by children up to 8 years of age because Its use may permanently discolor their teeth or cause other problems. Caution is advised in older child also. this medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult your physician before using this drug. this drug passes into breast milk & has had undesirable effects on nursing infants. Therefore, this is use isn't recommended while breast-feeding. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Ed Doxy Caps drug interactions: Inform your doctor of every medicines you may use (both prescription and nonprescription), especially of: vitamins/minerals (e.g., magnesium, aluminum, calcium, iron, zinc), quinapril, didanosine, bismuth subsalicylate, sucralfate, antacids, other antibiotics, live vaccines, warfarin. this medicine may decrease effectiveness about oral contraceptives. Consult your physician or pharmacist about other types of birth control. do not start or stop any medicine with out physician or pharmacist approval.

Ed Doxy Caps Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Ed Doxy Caps special notes: it medication has been prescribed for you're current condition only. do not use it later since another infection or give it to someone else. different med may be necessary.

If you missed Ed Doxy Caps dose: If you must miss dose, take it as soon as remembered unless It's almost clock for following dose. If It's nearly time for following dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.

Ed Doxy Caps Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
