Benzoin Usage: this medication is used on skin to prevent germs from growing, to coat minor sores & to protect the skin.
How to use Benzoin: this medication is for use on skin only. Clean & dry affected area. then apply a small amount of medication on skin as directed. do not use big amounts, apply this more often or use it for a longer period then directed. your condition will not clear faster, but chance for side effects may be increased. Use carefully if applying to face. Avoid contact in or around eyes.
Benzoin side effects: this medication may initially cause mild irritation, burning, redness. If these effects continue or become worse, notify your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: swelling, rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Benzoin Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses, or infections, any allergies. this drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your physician. Its not known if it medication is found in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Benzoin medication interactions: Tell your pharmacist about any over-the-counter or prescription med you may use including: all skin products. don't start or stop any medicine with out physician or pharmacist approval.
Benzoin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Benzoin special notes: If condition for which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after few days, notify your doctor.
If you missed Benzoin dose: If you miss dose, apply this as soon as remembered; don't apply it if it is near clock for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Benzoin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. Keep it & every tablet out of reach about children.
