How to use Heparin Sodium in 0 45% Nacl: this drug is administered by health care professional either as an injection or infused slowly into vein over period time. Blood tests will be done routinely to determine the appropriate dose.

Heparin Sodium in 0 45% Nacl side effects: this med can cause irritation, pain, redness or swelling at injection site. If these symptoms continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify youre physician if you develop signs of a possibly allergy: chills, fever, itchy skin, rash. Bleeding must be monitored for it may indicate dose is too high. Heparin Sodium in 0 45% Nacl Precautions: Tell youre doctor if you have: blood disorders, bleeding episodes, heart disease, ulcers, liver disease, kidney disease, any allergies. preservative (benzyl alcohol) which may be found in this product or in liquid used to mix this product (diluent) can infrequently cause serious problems (sometimes death) if given by injection to an infant during the 1'st months of life (neonatal period). risk is greater with lower birth weight infants & is greater with increased amounts about benzyl alcohol. Symptoms include sudden gasping, low blood pressure, or a very slow heartbeat. Report these symptoms to the doctor immediately should they occur. If possible, a preservative-free product should be used when treating neonates. Elderly persons may be more sensitive to effects of this tablet. this medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. It's not known if this pill appears in breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Heparin Sodium in 0 45% Nacl drug interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you take, especially of: blood thinners, aspirin, nitroglycerin, injectable antibiotics. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.

Heparin Sodium in 0 45% Nacl Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unexplained bleeding and bruising, stomach pain or swelling, back pain, blood in urine, vomiting blood, dizziness, & headache.

Heparin Sodium in 0 45% Nacl special notes: this medication is usually administered initially in hospital where some your condition can be monitored closely. Laboratory tests will be done periodically to be sure drug is working properly and to monitor for possible side effects.
