Wide Seal Diaphragm Usage: this barrier device is used to prevent pregnancy.

How to use Wide Seal Diaphragm: To be most effective, the diaphragm is used with a spermicide contraceptive as directed. Practice inserting & removing the diaphragm in the doctor's office to learn proper placement. Prior to sexual intercourse, place proper amount of spermicide in to diaphragm & spread few around outer ring. Insert diaphragm into the vagina to cover cervix. the diaphragm & spermicide should remain in place for 6-8 hours after last act of intercourse (time is dependent upon product information for the spermicide). the diaphragm should be removed as soon as possible after it time period. the diaphragm should not be worn continuously since more then 24 hours. If additional spermicide is required while diaphragm is worn, diaphragm must not be removed to apply spermicide. Wash the diaphragm using warm, soapy water. Dry this & hold it to light to check since any holes or tears. Place the diaphragm in the case since proper storage. diaphragm must be refitted after childbirth & should be checked at all annual pelvic exam.

Wide Seal Diaphragm side effects: theyre are no side effects associated with proper use about the diaphragm. Spermicides may cause irritation or burning. If this occurs, contact your healthcare professional.

Wide Seal Diaphragm Precautions: Avoid use of petroleum jelly with diaphragm. Petroleum can weaken latex causing tears and leaks.

Wide Seal Diaphragm drug interactions: Tell your physician of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Wide Seal Diaphragm Overdose: Not applicable.

Wide Seal Diaphragm special notes: Diaphragms, when used as directed with spermicidal cream or gel, 80 to 98% effective in preventing pregnancy. Refer to instructions provided for proper use of a spermicide.
