    Trileptal Usage: it medication is used to treat seizure disorders (epilepsy). this may be used with other seizure tablets as determined by your healthcare professional.

    How to use Trileptal: Shake the bottle well before each dose. Measure each dose carefully with provided oral dosing syringe. Take this medication by mouth, usually twice daily, or as directed by some your healthcare professional. this medication may be taken with or without food. suspension may be swallowed directly from oral syringe or mixed in small glass of water. the dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. it is important to take all doses on time to keep the level of drug in you're blood constant. Take doses at evenly spaced intervals. don't skip doses. don't stop taking this drug suddenly with out you're doctor's approval since seizures may reoccur. Notify your physician if seizure control worsens.

    Trileptal side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, rash, headache, trouble sleeping, acne, dry mouth, or constipation may occur. If any about these effects persist or worsen, contact your physician or pharmacist promptly. Tell your physician immediately if you develop any of these serious side effects: double vision, change in vision, involuntary eye movements, difficulty speaking, loss of coordination, trouble walking (abnormal gait), uncontrolled muscle movements (tremor), dulled sense of touch, stomach pain. Tell your doctor immediately if you develop any of these unlikely but serious side effects: chest pain, mental/mood changes, bloody stool. An allergic reaction to this pill is unlikely, but seek immeditial medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Trileptal Precautions: Before using this medication, tell your doctor or physician your medical history, including: any allergies (especially to carbamazepine), kidney disease, decreased sodium blood levels (hyponatremia), recent seizures. this drug may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. Oxcarbazepine isnt recommended since use during pregnancy due to potential fetal harm. Consult your doctor since more details. it drug passes into breast milk & may have undesirable effects on nursing infant. Because of potential risk to infant, breast-feeding while using it drug is not recommended. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

    Trileptal drug interactions: Before using this medication, tell you're pharmacist or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription med you may use, especially: other seizure control drug (e.g., carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital, valproic acid), calcium channel blockers (e.g., verapamil, felodipine). it drug may decrease the effectiveness of combination-type birth control pills. You may need to use an additional form of reliable birth control while using this med. Consult your healthcare professional or physician. Tell your physician if you take any tablets that make you drowsy, such as: medicine for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety medications (e.g., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., hydrocodone, codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., phenothiazines such as chlorpromazine, or tricyclics such as amitriptyline), muscle relaxants, antihistamines that cause drowsiness (e.g., diphenhydramine). cash labels on all your medicines (e.g., cough-and-cold products) because they can contain drowsiness-causing ingredients. Ask your physician about safe use about those products. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.

    Trileptal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

    Trileptal special notes: Its recommended you wear or carry identification indicating you using this drug. do not share this medication with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., sodium levels, pregnancy tests) may be performed to monitor your therapy.

    If you missed Trileptal dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If this is near the time of the following dose, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't double dose to catch up.

    Trileptal Storage: Store at room temperature in 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) in original container away from light and moisture. Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 - 30 degrees C) is permitted. don't store in the bathroom. Keep every medicines away from children & pets. Discard any unused tablet after 7 weeks.
