Warning: Flumazenil can cause seizures, especially at patients who have been on benzodiazepines (e.g., diazepam) for a long time or if patient has taken too much of benzodiazepine (overdose).
Romazicon Usage: it med reverses the sedative effects about certain medications. it is used to counteract effects of certain anesthetics. this may also be used in treatment about medication overdose.
How to use Romazicon: this medication is given by injection by a health care professional. the dose & frequency of use is based on your condition and response. You will be monitored closely while receiving this drug.
Romazicon side effects: Headache, sweating, irritation at injection site, blurred vision, flushing, nausea, vomiting or dizziness may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your healthcare professional immediately if you develop: rapid heart rate, skin rash, mood changes, irritability, anxiety, mental confusion, nervousness, tremor, abnormal/jerky muscle movements, depression. Avoid intake of alcoholic beverages or any prescription or nonprescription tablet for at least one day unless directed to do so by you're pharmacist. Be aware that sedation may persist & that your memory and judgment may be impaired since up to one day. Therefore, avoid driving & do not perform tasks requiring alertness until you no longer feel dizzy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or pharmacist.
Romazicon Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have a history about: seizures, panic attacks, alcohol or pill dependency, breathing disorders, heart disease, liver disease, head injury, allergies (especially drug allergies). this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. it is not known if this drug appears in breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding. it med isn't recommended for use in children.
Romazicon med interactions: Tell youre doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: antidepressants, anti-seizure drugs, narcotic pain relievers, sleeping meds, sedatives. Avoid the use of alcohol while taking it drug. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or healthcare professional approval.
Romazicon Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include emotional or mood changes, agitation, and convulsions.
Romazicon special notes: this drug reverses sedative effects of another medication but memory & judgment may still be vague for up to one day.
If you missed Romazicon dose: this medication is administered by a health care professional who will determine you're dose and schedule. their is no need for follow-up doses.
Romazicon Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom. Keep this & all drugs out of the reach of children.
