    Mycelex Usage: this drug is used to treat fungal infections of the mouth, tongue or throat. Additionally, this medicine is used to prevent these same infections in patients undergoing certain treatment procedures.

    How to use Mycelex: this drug is meant to be dissolved in the mouth. do not swallow it. the usual dosing is one lozenge (troche) three times daily for no more than 14 days unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. When used to prevent infections, the usual dose is one lozenge three times daily until your pharmacist tells you to stop using this. Continue to use it medication until full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping medication too early may allow infection to continue, resulting in a return of infection.

    Mycelex side effects: You may experience nausea, vomiting, unpleasant taste sensation or itching. If these effects persist or worsen, contact your healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you experience: unusual tiredness, pain in stomach area, yellowing about eyes or skin. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or healthcare professional.

    Mycelex Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: liver problems, any allergies (especially drug allergies). it medication should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. this is not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Though Its unlikely to be absorbed in sufficient quantity to cause problems to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Mycelex drug interactions: Tell youre doctor about all the medicines you use, both prescription & nonprescription. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Mycelex Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

    Mycelex special notes: don't share this product with others.

    If you missed Mycelex dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered unless It's almost time for next dose. Instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Mycelex Storage: Store at room temperature below 86 degrees F (25 degrees C) away from heat & moisture. do not store in bathroom.
