Alavert Usage: Loratadine is an antihistamine that provides relief of seasonal allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose (rhinitis), itching eyes, and sneezing. it is also used since hives.
How to use Alavert: Remove the pill from Its foil pack & place the med on the tongue. it will dissolve quickly. You may take this medication with or without water. Take this drug by mouth once a day or as directed. Use only on the tongue. do not place in the cheek or under tongue. do not increase you're dose or take this more often than directed. do not take this drug for few days before allergy testing since test results canbe affected.
Alavert side effects: Headache, fatigue, dry mouth, thirst, dry nose or hoarseness may occur. These effects should lessen as your body adjusts to medication. If any about these effects persist or worsen, notify your pharmacist or pharmacist promptly. Tell your physician immediately if any about these unlikely but serious side effects occur: nervousness, rapid or pounding heartbeat, unusual weakness, stomach pain, dizziness, diarrhea, wheezing, increased physical activity. Loratadine does not usually cause drowsiness when used at recommended doses and under normal circumstances. However, be sure of the drug's effects before engaging in activities that require alertness such as driving or using machinery. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your pharmacist or physician.
Alavert Precautions: Before using this pill, tell your physician or pharmacist you're medical history, especially about: kidney disease, liver disease, any allergies. Limit alcohol intake, as this may intensify drug side effects. Caution is advised when using this drug in elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects about medication. this medication must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor. this drug passes into breast milk. Breast-feeding isn't recommended while using this med.
Alavert tablet interactions: Before using this drug, tell youre doctor or pharmacist of every prescription & nonprescription goods you may use. check labels on all youre medicines (e.g., cough-and-cold products) because they can contain additional antihistamines that could increase your risk for side effects. Ask your pharmacist about the safe use of those products. do not start or stop any medicine with-out healthcare professional or physician approval.
Alavert Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: unusual drowsiness, severe headache, fast heartbeat, & unusual muscle movements.
Alavert special notes: do not share this medication with others.
If you missed Alavert dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If Its near time of following dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.
Alavert Storage: Store between 36-77 degrees F (2-25 degrees C) in dry place. do not store in the bathroom. Use immediately after opening up individual pill blister. Discard laminated foil pouch if not used within 6 months after opened. Keep all medicines away from children & pets.
