Deaths have occurred during such stresses, due to low steroid levels. Routine blood tests may be performed (e.g., morning cortisol levels). Vanceril Double Strength Usage: Inhaled corticosteroids work directly in lungs to open airways & make breathing easier by relieving inflammation. this med must be used regularly to prevent wheezing & shortness about breath caused by asthma, bronchitis or emphysema. this drug does not work immediately. Therefore it does not relieve an acute attack.

How to use Vanceril Double Strength: Make sure you understand how to use inhaler properly. Shake the canister well before using. When using inhaler for first time, test the unit by spraying at least once into air. fine mist indicates that inhaler is working properly. it is recommended you use a spacer/holding chamber. Ask your pharmacist or pharmacist about this. If using without a spacing device, place canister near your mouth and exhale. Depress canister as you inhale deeply. Hold your breath for few seconds to allow drug to be absorbed. Shake the inhaler again before using. If more than one inhalation is prescribed, wait one full minute between inhalations so you get the full effects of the 1-st dose. If using other inhalers, wait several minutes between use of the inhalers & use this one (the corticosteroid) last. Gargle & rinse your mouth after using this to help prevent dryness, relieve throat irritation & to prevent oral yeast infections. do not swallow rinse solution. Use this medication exactly as prescribed. do not use it more frequently without your doctor's approval.

Vanceril Double Strength side effects: may cause a cough, a dry irritated throat, unpleasant taste, hoarseness or nasal congestion, pain or headache. If these effects continue or become bothersome, contact your healthcare professional. Notify youre doctor if you experience: white-colored tongue, prolonged mouth or throat irritation, vision changes. Contact your healthcare professional if you experience any of the following signs about low steroid levels: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea, vomiting, fainting, dizziness. in unlikely part you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek healthcare professional attention immediately. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Vanceril Double Strength Precautions: Before you use this drug, tell your doctor your medical history including: every illnesses & infections, recent exposure to contagious diseases (e.g., chickenpox), glaucoma, cataracts, allergies (especially drug allergies). If within past 12 months you have switched from an oral corticosteroid (e.g., prednisone) to this inhaler, or if you had been using this product in higher-than-usual doses & suddenly stopped using this, your body may not produce enough natural steroids. You may need to start taking additional corticosteroids, especially if you're body is stressed due to major infection, surgery or injury. Consult your doctor. If you cough up mucus that has thickened or changed color from clear white to yellow, green, or gray, contact you're doctor; these changes may be signs of an infection. children & teenagers must be monitored since proper growth patterns while using any corticosteroid medicine. this medication must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. this drug may be excreted in to breast milk. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Vanceril Double Strength drug interactions: Before you use this drug tell your physician about any over-the-counter or prescription meds you are taking, especially of: oral corticosteroids (e.g., dexamethasone, prednisone). do not start or stop any medicine with out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Vanceril Double Strength Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

If you missed Vanceril Double Strength dose: Use the missed dose as soon as remembered. Use the remaining doses since that day at evenly spaced intervals.
