Diazoxide - suspension

Proglycem Usage: this drug is used at treatment of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
How to use Proglycem: Take this drug by mouth as directed. Shake the liquid well before pouring each dose. Monitor your urine since glucose and ketones and your blood for glucose as directed while taking this drug. Notify your doctor about any unexpected results.
Proglycem side effects: Headache, dizziness, anxiety, or nausea may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. Increased hair growth on forehead, back, arms and legs which is harmless & disappears when drug is stopped. Notify your doctor if you develop chest pain, rapid or pounding heartbeat, easy bruising or bleeding, vision changes, skin rash, itching, sweating, extreme weakness, numbness or tingling about hands or feet, frequent urination, thirst. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or pharmacist.
Proglycem Precautions: Tell you're doctor if you have: heart problems, kidney problems, gout, allergies (especially to thiazide drugs). this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist.
Proglycem med interactions: Tell youre pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, especially of: HBP drugs, drugs since diabetes, water pills, blood thinners, phenytoin, phenothiazines (e.g., chlorpromazine). do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.
Proglycem Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include drowsiness, flushed/dry skin, fruit-like breath odor, increased urination, unusual thirst, & continued loss of appetite.
Proglycem special notes: It's important to monitor your urine and/or blood glucose while taking this drug, especially during times of stress since dosage adjustment may be needed. Discuss meaning about test results with you're doctor.
If you missed Proglycem dose: Try to take each dose in the scheduled clock. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if this is near time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Proglycem Storage: Store it medication between 36 & 86 degrees F (2 & 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom. do not freeze. Keep this and all medications out about reach of children.
